Yesterday’s show on Social Media Success with Janet Fouts, was great. I had to fun out to another meeting and didn’t have much time to share some of the great info with you from the show.

First, Janet has a great book: “Social Media Success” that is available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I have her book and am reading it now. I have found some great info in it.

Social Mention is a site that can help you find out where the conversations are happening.

LinkedIn: ask your connections for recommendations. Space out when you let recommendations go live. Each update to your profile, including recommendations gets listed on your connections page and emailed out to your connections. If you receive 10 new recommendations and they all go live on the same day, get mentioned that one day, but if you scatter them across a couple of weeks then you are mentioned each time.

LazyFeed — is live feed and cues you into what is happening in the present.
