Leadership Development Through A High Powered Partnership
In partnership with Deborah McLaughlin, of Open Door Coaching, we have developed “The Real World Leader’s Institute” a comprehensive leadership development program. This advanced skills program uses a small group format for hands on leadership skill training and ongoing executive coaching to ensure that skills are adopted and practiced in the workplace. The Real World Leader’s Institute is a 9 month intensive, advanced skills program.
Customized Leadership Development Programs
In addition, Compass Rose Consulting, LLC offers customized Leadership Training and Executive Coaching for organizations based on their needs. We use a comprehensive process with each team we work with:
- Pre Work Assessment
- Skill Development, Skill Acquisition through customized training
- Skill Retention through Executive Coaching and Follow up
- Assessment: We use a second assessment to determine the level of skill acquisition and retention.
Leadership development is a process. Good skills do not occur based on an individual training. It takes effective training and ongoing skill development through a comprehensive plan for following up, practicing new skills and having a coach to work with to ensure that skills are retained.
Leadership skills are not innate or necessarily naturally occurring. With many leaders hired and promoted from within makes leadership development essential. While many are highly skilled, when promoted, new challenges are faced and good leadership training and executive coaching support the new leaders skill acquisition.
