The Entrepreneur’s Book Club is filled with great ideas from the experts and distilled with discussion and coaching into practical, usable techniques and strategies.

As a business leader, I am often reading the latest book and quickly move from it to the next one without every putting the excellent ideas and approaches into action. The Entrepreneur’s Book Club, will help you, do just that. We will be reading one book every month. We don’t want to be too rushed and we want to really spend time with the material and take the usable pieces into our companies, organizations and businesses.

Who is the Entrepreneur’s Book Club for?

The Entrepreneur’s Book Club is geared for business leaders, business owners, team leaders, non profit leaders and supervisory staff. We are focused on how to build highly effective work teams, productive and successful businesses that are highly profitable and abundant. Those teams might be leadership teams, sales team, operational teams or other teams within the company or organization.

What will the book club look like?

The Entrepreneur’s Book Club meets monthly for an hour. Generally, over “lunch”, a brown bag or gourmet lunch. It’s totally BYOL…(bring your own lunch)We will meet via conference call or webcast with the ability to have 100 people join the call. The line will remain available for the hour after the call for further discussion, brainstorming, collaborating. This book club can become your mastermind group, your coaching group. You can learn, grow and master new strategies right there in a book group.

Who facilitates the call?

Donna Price, President of Compass Rose Consulting, LLC and Strategic Facilitator will host and facilitate the calls. Donna has extensive leadership training and has been an administrator in several organizations with 18+ years of hands on learning experience, Master’s Degrees, facilitator training, coach training, business coach training and much more.

100 people on a call sounds like a lot. But, we use a conference call system that will allow people to add to the conversation when they have something to add, and listen when that feels right.

Sharing with a group of people, their experiences and insights will enhance the books tremendously. We will also be providing a handout for each book with some key questions for you to help bring the critical lessons to light and give you ways of implementing them in your business or organization.

Just reading great books isn’t enough. We need to practice the skills and integrate the significant lessons into our practice.

What if I can’t make the club meeting?

Each call is being recorded and you can listen to the call on-line or download it to your computer or MP3 player to listen to later! Now, that’s a real bargain — a book club, collaborative learning with other leaders, twice each month, AND recordings of the call, for just $25.00, amazing. You can’t buy leadership development opportunities anywhere for that price!

When does the club meet?

We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at noon (Eastern). For west coasters — that’s just when you get in, for European’s that’s just as you leave and for us here in New England it’s lunch time!! A great time for all. Imagine, you can read a book, and meet people from around the world, share ideas and get feedback on those ideas. You can connect or you can be fairly anonymous.

We will post a link to each book on our site each month, so that you can easily access it through Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble. or our favorite: Borders Books! It’s easy, or visit your local bookstore and pick it up in person.
